Chamosaldont Gel in the Treatment of Periodontal Inflammation with an Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Each Component
Abstract:
The aim of the study was to evaluate the therapeutic effectiveness of two groups of components of Chamosaldont Gel, i.e. Tolpa Peat Preparation (TPP) and herb extracts. The investigation was carried out in two groups as a double-blind trial. A preparation containing only herb extracts was used in group I, and only TPP was used in group II. Clinical parameters of periodontal health and subjective observations of the patients were evaluated. It was proven that both components of Chamosaldont gel have statistically significant anti-inflammatory and tissue healing properties when applied to the periodontium.
