Studies of the Embryotoxic and Teratogenic Effects of Tolpa Peat Preparation

Abstract:

No embryotoxic or teratogenic effects were observed in hamsters or rats after an administration of Tolpa Peat Preparation (TPP) in daily doses of 5 and 50 mg/kg. Some maternal toxicity in rats and some embryotoxic effect in hamsters were recorded after the highest dose of TPP (250 mg/kg daily).
